The Story of Cynful Snax

I’ve had many people ask me how Cynful Snax started or what made me want to start my own business. This might sound silly, but it all started on the golf course. Now I’m not sure how much experience you have on the greens, but the food and drinks are limited.
Most of your options are chalk-full of sugar, greasy, and indigestible ingredients. I wanted a better option for myself while enjoying a round of 18-holes and quickly realized bringing my own snacks was the solution. Standing in my kitchen, I thought of all the options I had. It dawned on me that nuts were a great starting place.
Trying different combinations of flavors and methods of preparation, I experimented with a variety of recipes. Eventually I found that the best way to prepare my nuts was to soak, and dehydrate them. This process breaks down any tough or fibrous parts that our stomachs struggle to break down and digest. It also ensures the nuts are crispy and crunchy, perfect for snacking.
Now when it came to flavors, I tried a few, but the first two I fell in love with were ginger and pumpkin. During the process, I found that whatever flavor I chose could be perfectly sweetened with a plant-based, sugar-free sweetener called, xylitol. This special ingredient eliminates blood sugar spikes with its naturally low glycemic index, making it perfect for those sensitive to sugar, managing diabetes, or trying to avoid added sugars.
With a few small-batches in hand, I brought my hand-made snacks to the golf course. My friends LOVED them—and the positive reaction was overwhelming! Realizing there was a market for sugar-free, easily-digestible, and guilt-free treats, I decided to start my own business. So, to make a long story even longer, that is how Cynful Snax came to be!
